Jacksonville, North Carolina Criminal Defense, Admiralty, and Civil Litigation
Serving your needs:
When you have legal problems, you need an experienced legal professional in your corner. No matter the case, you should have an attorney working for you who knows the law and has the experience to get results.
If you have been charged with a crime, you should go to court with a former prosecutor at your side. As a North Carolina Assistant District Attorney, Christopher Welch handled hundreds of criminal matters and thousands of traffic citations. In his years of private practice, he has represented thousands of clients in cases ranging from minor traffic violations to the most serious felonies, and he will bring that depth of experience to work for you.
As an experienced litigator, Jason Harris has the know-how to achieve results in a broad range of civil matters. He has represented clients in both State and Federal Courts throughout North Carolina in a wide range of fields including family law, business law, admiralty, and civil litigation, and he will use his skill and knowledge to achieve results for you. As a Proctor in Admiralty, Mr. Harris has the rare skills to handle your maritime legal needs.
Trevor Avery is a true native of eastern North Carolina. Born and raised in Onslow County, he has brought his legal practice back to serve his home community. A graduate of East Carolina University and Campbell Law School, Mr. Avery is experienced in criminal defense, landlord-tenant, family law, and civil litigation. He currently represents clients in Onslow, Duplin, and Jones Counties.
Ellen Shults brings years of litigation experience to the firm. A graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama School of law, she is licensed in North Carolina, Alabama, and the District of Columbia. Throughout her career she has concentrated on federal and state court civil litigation and has experience serving clients in many litigation fields, including breach of contract, insurance defense, and admiralty and maritime matters.
